ReplyDeleteDeAnna,
ReplyDeleteI know you have not been able to read your blog messages, but I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you. Philip went back this afternoon and I returned a couple hours ago from a birthday dinner for Scarlett, Mike and your Grandma at the Pizza Hut. It was good to hear you on the phone this afternoon. Sounds like your trip to the mountain was a wonderful experience. Hopefully you can respond soon.

Dear DeAnna,We have had another good day we went to the cole reunion at the park at galax after going to chuirch this morning. there wasn't as many there this year. our cousins from Richmond didn't get to come this year because Beth fell last fall and injured her arm and shoulder . Her shoulder still bothers her and hurts when she travels very far. I called this evening and talked to and told her we missed seeing them this year. we also went to the pizza hut to celebrate Scarlett's, granny, and mikes birthday's. we missed you. we love you. mama

DeAnna, I just wanted to let you know how the Luau Saturday night was. Well it was a very sucessful, and blessful event. We had 30 some souls saved and redecations .Brother Michael Jenkins gave a very good testamony about his life. He has had a rough life. But since he was saved he was blessed to lead his family to the lord. We had over 3000 people there. I served on the food commity. we did hot dogs with the servings. we did 3500 hot dogs from 11:00 to 5:30. Then we cleaned up the tables and at 7:00 we made a fudge sundae that was over 200 feet long and served everyone that was there. I left the park about 5: 10 and got granny to let her enjoy what was left of the services. Two of the entertaining groups came to our church this morning and did the worship service one was a christian illusionist, and the other group was Rev. Reggie Sadler singers. We loved your newest pictures and update of your trip .Duane and Anita came this afternoon and i let them see your blogs . Anita ask me to tell you hello for her and she is looking forward to seeing you soon. she said she didn't know how to blog to do it herself. i love you. Love mama
ReplyDeleteDeAnna, Just wanted to check in with you before going to bed it 11:59 p.m.We have had a good day I got up early and did my washing and hung them out to dry. Daddy didn't get up until later after breakfast we left for a walk with Barbara at Barrens Springs . Daddy let us out at Barren Springs and drove to Allasonia and rode his bike back to meet us, and rode his bike along with us to Allisona.I told him to go to Hiwassee bridge with the truck and we would get with him there. We walked 7.5 miles in all. WE hope to go the rest of the way to Pulaski Thursday. Then we will have walked all of the new river trail from Galax and Fries area to Pulaski once again. Barbara loves the trail. I have enjoyed walking it with her again this year. Not as much as I did with you though. We had a great time also because it was the 1st. time i completed walking all the trail. When you ask me to try to walk all the trail I didn't think it would be possible. but we made and i have almost finished it again. Wonders never seem to end haha. we love you. Mama
